About Matarromera Crianza
Matarromera Crianza is a red wine from the Ribera Del Duero, produced by Bodegas Matarromera. The winery, located in the municipality of Valbuena de Duero (Valladolid), has plots on the northern slopes of the Douro Valley.
Matarromera Crianza is made from 100% Tempranillo. The grapes come from vineyards planted at an altitude of 800m above-sandy-clay loam in Pago de San Roman, 180ha ground.
The harvest is done manually during the month of October.
For the preparation of Matarromera Crianza, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 10-14 days at a controlled temperature of 26 ° C.
Afterwards, Matarromera Crianza is aged for 14 months in barrels of French and American oak and then spends 10 months aging in bottle.
