Robert Mondavi is considered the father of fine wine in California. His winery, located in the Napa Valley, is one of the most recognised and awarded wineries in the world. Baron Philippe de Rothschild was a man with a passion for beauty. When he inherited Château Mouton Rothschild, he fought passionately to restore Bordeaux’s reputation. These two greats in world viticulture joined forces to create Opus One.
