Lan Reserva 2018 is a red wine with an intense and brilliant cherry-red hue, featuring garnet edges. On the nose, it reveals a complex symphony of blackberries, blueberries, and currants, intertwined with hints of vanilla and spices. On the palate, it starts smooth and silky, with a broad, long, and very persistent finish. A wine with a concentrated profile that leaves a lasting impression.

About Lan Reserva

Lan Reserva is a red wine from Rioja produced by Bodega LAN.

The name of the winery is composed of the initials of the provinces that were part of Rioja (Logroño, Alava and Navarra) in 1972, when the winery was created.

LAN Winery is located in Fuenmayor (La Rioja Alta).

Lan Reserva is a blend of Tempranillo (80%), Mazuelo (10%) and Grenache (10%). The grapes come from vineyards of 60 years of the Viña Lanciano farm. This farm, surrounded by the Ebro River, is one of the most spectacular in La Rioja.

For processing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30-32C. The maceration lasts 3 weeks, during which frequent pumpings are made to achieve a good colour extraction.

Finally, Lan Reserva undergoes aging in French and American oak for at least 12 months and then 24 months in bottle.

Upon tasting, it greets us with a richness that saturates the palate, emphasizing its expressive nature and smooth tannins that yield to a finish where flavors of chocolate, macerated fruits, and a lingering persistence beckon one to continue savoring each sip. This red wine is a paragon of harmony and intensity.
2016

Lan Reserva 2016 is a quintessential red, boasting a luminous cherry hue. Olfactorily, it is vigorous and multifaceted, exuding scents of ripe red fruits, white blossoms, almond trees, broom, and cinnamon. On the palate, it is robust, commencing with a velvety, gentle, and smooth approach that gracefully unfolds. Harmoniously balanced and flavorsome. It concludes with an extensive, effortlessly enjoyable finish.
2015

Lan Reserva 2015 is a robust red wine redolent with the scents of dark berries, hints of sweet spices, and balsamic nuances. Upon the palate, it is gracious, expansive, and silky. This wine boasts mature, well-structured tannins and a prolonged, enduring finish.
2009 Intense and pleasant entry. Presence of red, tasty and fresh fruit. Good balance and acidity.

Cherry red with ruby and purple highlights.

Medium to high intensity. Fruity aromas of ripe red fruit, with hints of herbs and cocoa.
2008 On the palate it is agreeable and velvety.

A mature and brilliant cherry colour.

On the nose, there are fruity aromas together with those of fine woods.
