About Lan Crianza

Lan Crianza is a red wine from Rioja, prepared by the LAN cellar. Located in the town of Fuenmayor (La Rioja subzone), its name refers to the initials of the three provinces that formed the Rioja at the time of its inauguration: Logroño (today La Rioja), Alava and Navarra.

Lan Crianza is 100% made from Tempranillo.

For itts production, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and a maceration for 15 days with periodic pumping to extract the maximum possible colour. After, the wine is aged for 12 months in barrels of American and French oak, followed by resting for several months in bottle.

Lan Crianza 2017 is a supple red wine boasting an aromatic bouquet of wild red berries, creamy dairy nuances, and pastry elements, complemented by sweetly spiced undertones. On the palate, it reveals profound depth, vibrant intensity, and a sumptuous sweetness. This medium-bodied wine is graced with velvety tannins and culminates in a prolonged, delightful finish.
2011 Powerful, fleshy and evolved entry. Wide and fruity step with toasted notes. Good acidity and well integrated tannins.

Intense and deep cherry red.

Medium-high intensity. Aromas of black fruit, with balsamic and toast.
2007 Very elegant attack and very nice mid palate. Very tasty, smooth and well balanced wine with expressive notes of fruit and good toasted aromas. Its acidity and tannins are present although its tannins need to finish polishing in the bottle. Long and persistent finishthat leave a slightly sweet spicy aftertaste.

Good aromatic intensity marked by very expressive notes of red and black fruit very balanced with its notes of good oak: chocolate, coffee, vanilla, elegant toasted and a subtle floral touch.
