About Dr. Loosen Dr. L. Bros Riesling

Dr. Loosen Dr. L. Bros Riesling is a monovarietal Riesling white wine produced by Dr. Loosen. It is rated as a wine from the VDP Mosel-Saar-Ruwer.

Dr. Loosen is one of the best Riesling-producing wineries. The Loosen family, which manages the winery, has been devoted to winemaking for over 200 years. The latest to run it is Ernst Loosen. It has vineyards over 60 years old planted ungrafted, and produces around 70,000 bottles annually, making it one of the largest producers in Mosel.

The grapes for Dr. Loosen Dr. L. Bros Riesling are harvested by hand, fermented into stainless steel tanks with temperature control, and the fermentation is halted cold to leave the wine with a little residual sugar.
