Segura Viudas is a winery with a very long history. Located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the capital of cava, they make one of the best sparkling wines using grapes grown in the town of Torrelavit. A coupage of 7 different wines that are aged for more than 18 months on lees, this wine guarantees a good celebration!

6. Llopart Reserva Brut Nature

If we talk about Catalan sparkling wines that are made with excellence in mind, we’ve got to talk about LLopart. Such is their focus on quality, they and nine other Penedès wineries created Corpinnat, a distinctive quality seal that certifies organic and long-aged sparkling wines made using the traditional champenoise method. And this is exactly what Llopart Reserva Brut Nature is.

7. Mas Candí Segunyola

From the same collective quality seal of Corpinnat, the Mas Candí Penedès winery delights us with a sparkling wine that has aged for a minimum of 48 months. This wine, awarded 92 Parker points, is made using only Xarel·lo, the reigning variety of Penedès and is a complex, deep and very mineral sparkling wine.

8. Raventós Blanc de Nit

Raventós i Blanc are strongly committed to the unique terroirs of the Anoia river basin. This is how they have set themselves apart from every other denomination and created their own VT Conca del Riu Anoia. Their De Nit wine is a traditional coupage with a touch of the red Monastrell variety added to bring complexity without reducing freshness. A toast with character.

9. Agustí Torelló Mata Gran Reserva Brut Nature

Behind Agustí Torelló Mata lies an intrepid and passionate spirit that has contributed to putting Sant Sadurní d’Anoia on the world map of sparkling wines. This Gran Reserva Brut Nature is a deliciously balanced coupage where the Xarel·lo variety gives body, the Parellada adds finesse and the Macabeu brings fragrance.

10. Rigol Brut

Finally, Caves Rigol has once again found itself in tenth position of our top 10 with this classic sparkling Brut. For this cava, the traditional Penedès coupage is used and some residual sugar is added for gentleness and balance.
