Xavier Benier Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau is a natural, young red wine made in AOC Beaujolais-Villages, in Beaujolais, by Xavier Benier with the Gamay variety.
 
Xavier Benier is part of a signature wines group following in the footsteps of the great natural winemaker Jules Chauvet. Located in the south of Beaujolais, just above Saint-Julien, Rhône, he is the youngest of a small family of producers working 6.5 ​hectares of vineyard without chemicals and with the utmost respect to produce village wines and Beaujolais cru. 
 
Xavier Benier Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau comes from old vines planted in red sand and clay soils. They are cultivated using organic agriculture and no synthetic products. The harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness. 
 
In the winery, the Xavier Benier Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau grapes undergo a carbonic maceration with spontaneous fermentation of the whole berry and with native yeasts. This brings out the fruity aromas without extracting the bitter tannins. The wine is bottled without being filtered, clarified or adding sulphur. 
 
A young wine that was originally made to celebrate the end of the vintage, Xavier Benier Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau is here to showcase the full fruitiness, freshness and joy of a good Beaujolais. It won’t keep you waiting!
