Wines with respect for nature

In the late 1980s, Carmen Daurella and Mario Rotllant established Bodegas Roda in La Rioja, with the aim of bringing innovation to the wine industry. Situated in Haro, adjacent to the Ebro River and atop a 19th-century cellar, the winery has undergone several phases of expansion since its inception in 1987, incorporating energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy sources.

Roda is distinguished by its focus on quality, exclusively using grapes from its own vineyards and vinifying in French oak vats, without blending vintages or buying wines from other wineries. Furthermore, the winery employs advanced systems to control temperature and humidity, utilising solar energy to generate both heat and cold, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and innovation in the production of high-quality wines.
