Viña Real Reserva 2018 is a red wine distinguished by its deep cherry red hue with tile-like nuances. On the nose, it reveals sophisticated aromas of toasted and smoky oak, accompanied by notes of cherries and blueberries, along with subtle hints of spices and liquorice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a good acidity that imparts freshness. Its fruity profile is complemented by toasted and spicy notes, and its finish is long and complex, leaving a pleasant aftertaste of liquorice and red fruit.

About Viña Real Reserva

Vina Real Reserva is a red wine from Rioja produced by the Vina Real, a member of the CVNE group. The winery is located on top of Cerro de la Mesa in La Rioja Alavesa.

Vina Real Reserva is made primarily from Tempranillo (90%) supplemented with Mazuelo, Garnacha and Graciano (10%).

For processing, one cold maceration and an alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks takes place at controlled temperatures.

After the fermentation process happens, Vina Real Reserva is aged for 22 months in new barrels with a manual racking every 4 months. Before bottling the wine is clarified. Once bottled Vina Real Reserva rests for two years.

2018

2017

Viña Real Reserva 2017 unveils an elegant spectrum of aromas with prominent ripe cherries and raspberries, interwoven with delicate spices and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is well-balanced, featuring polished tannins and an acidity that imparts vivacity. Its leather and toasted notes complement the fruit without overwhelming, culminating in a refined and concentrated expression. This wine epitomizes the harmonious coexistence of maturity and complexity within the glass.
2016

Viña Real Reserva 2016 has a clean, bright burgundy ruby ​​color. Very intense aromas of ripe red fruit with the corresponding barrel aging and roasting, spicy and smoked traces. It is a very well structured wine with corpulent but round tannins. Long final wine with a good evolution in the bottle, which gives it good aging potential.
2013 Viña Real Reserva 2013 is a deep, complex and meaty red wine. A vintage that displays all the character and elegance that Viña Real works with. Aromas of ripe red fruit perfectly blended with roasted and spicy notes. On the palate it is silky, with structure and with a very lingering and persistent finish.
2010 Powerful, structured and tasty. Fleshy and silky, somewhat dry. Round tannins. Complex, long finish.

Cherry red high layer. Clean and bright.

Medium to high intensity. Aromas of ripe fruit with spicy and toasted notes.
2008 Powerful and silky opening. Fleshy and tasty with sweet tannins that are well integrated. Persistent finish.
