About Vermut Xalar

Four years of meticulous research were invested by Toni Coca and Silvia Pujol, oenologists at Coca i Fitó, to craft the Vermut Xalar, which undoubtedly competes in a league of its own. Fortunately, such dedication has culminated in one of the most unique and sophisticated vermouths currently available on the market.
 
Vermut Xalar is created from a base wine of white Grenache and a hydroalcoholic maceration of about 30 botanicals, citrus peels, and spices that encapsulate the Mediterranean essence of the region where it is produced.
 
In pursuit of the delicate sweetness that distinguishes Vermut Xalar, rather than adding sugar or caramel, the oenologists have opted to incorporate mistela, a type of liqueur made from grape must and wine alcohol. The end result is a vermouth with a subtly natural sweetness that is impeccably balanced with an elegant bitterness and a flavorful balsamic aftertaste. In summary, a vermouth to 'xalar' (savor) at any time of day or night.
 
A distinguished vermouth deserves an equally impressive presentation. The Vermut Xalar was awarded the Best Label Prize 2021 by the Premis Vinari de Vermuts, a label that, in addition to its exquisite design, provides a comprehensive list of all the botanicals present in the beverage.
