About Terroir Sense Fronteres Brisat

Terroir Sense Fronteres Brisat is an orange wine crafted from the garnacha blanca variety in the D.O. Montsant (Catalonia) by Terroir Sense Fronteres. 
 
In 1996, Dominik Huber, a devotee of Priorat, settled there to establish his most personal project, Terroir al Límit. Throughout this process, he serendipitously discovered some vineyards within the neighbouring D.O. Montsant, allowing him to implement his winemaking philosophy with fewer constraints. Thus, the wines of Terroir Sense Fronteres were born. These are light and fresh wines that reflect the terroir and climate. 
 
Terroir Sense Fronteres Brisat originates from vineyards planted in the Montsant Valley at an altitude of 300-350 metres above sea level. These vines, aged between 15 and 35 years, thrive on clayey-sandy soils and benefit from a Mediterranean climate with continental influences. Sustainable farming practices are employed, and yields are limited to 5,000-6,000 kilograms per hectare. 
 
In the winery, the grapes for Terroir Sense Fronteres Brisat undergo whole cluster fermentation, without destemming, using indigenous yeasts for 4 - 6 days. The wine then ages in stainless steel tanks for a period of 6 months.
