About Sept Cuvée du Soleil

Since his teenage years in Paris, Maher Harb never forgot his father's homeland nor the cherished memories amidst fig trees and wild olive groves. His favourite number, seven, aligned with his life path and that of his father, unveiling a profound connection that would guide him back to his roots. With every step towards Nehla (Lebanon), each terrace he prepared, and each of the 5,000 vines he planted with his own hands, Maher was not merely returning home but also paying homage to the ancestral wisdom that shaped him. Thus, Sept (seven in French) was born, a project where passion meets tradition and each bottle encapsulates an emotional link to the past.

Sept Winery, nestled in the heart of the Bekaa Valley, embodies the essence of its surroundings and the authenticity of its terroir. Its organic vineyards, the first biodynamic ones in Lebanon, are cultivated with respect for the land and natural rhythms, showcasing the meticulousness of Maher and his family, who are committed to quality, sustainability, and the preservation of ancient agricultural practices. Each plot is a microcosm, carefully tended to allow the wine to express the unique character of the region.

Sept Cuvée du Soleil combines tempranillo and cabernet sauvignon from vineyards approximately 20 years old, planted on deep red clay soils at an altitude of 1,150 metres, resulting in a young and vibrant red, aged for 12 months on lees in stainless steel tanks. Its light and aromatic structure offers notes of ripe red fruit, a hint of spice, and a gentle finish that invites further enjoyment. This wine reflects the elegance of its terroir and the passion of its creator.
