About Señorío de P. Peciña Gran Reserva

Señorío de P.Peciña Gran Reserva is a red wine from the Rioja region produced by Bodegas Hermanos Peciña. 

This wine is a blend of Tempranillo (95%), Graciano (3%) and Grenache (2%) grapes, whose grapes have been taken from the wineries oldest vineyards, which have a low yield but are of exceptional quality.

As for the winemaking process, the wine is fermented for 12 days at a controled temperature of 26-27 °C. After this, the wine is aged for 48 months in American oak barrels which are between 5-6 years old. During this period, racking is carried out 8 times through decanting and gravity.

2014

Señorío de P. Peciña Gran Reserva 2014 unfurls a spectrum of aromas, with ripe fruits such as plums and cherries taking center stage, interwoven with hints of spice that evoke vanilla and black pepper. On the palate, its passage is robust and full-bodied, with a structure that exemplifies the elegance of seamlessly integrated tannins. This red wine reveals a distinct personality characterized by its maturity and substantial presence, offering a prolonged and persistent finish that beckons one to continue savoring its complexity.

2011

Señorío de P. Peciña Gran Reserva 2011 is a robust red wine. Olfactorily, it's intricate, exuding scents of cigar smoke, fungi, dried herbs, cherry, and fig. On the palate, it's invigorating and enduring, with spicy nuances. The finish is extensive.

2001 On the palate, it is lingering, well-rounded, harmonious, and velvety. The tannins are smooth and delectable with hints of toffee.

The wine displays a deep ruby cherry color with a dense core and orange highlights, clear and bright.

The nose is intense and delicate, boasting a broad array of aromas including chocolate and coffee, intermingled with ripe fruit, nuances of prune, and fruit compote.
