About Rebeldes Tinto Montsant

Rebeldes is a red wine made in the D.O. Montsant (Tarragona) by Wineissocial. It is made from a coupage of the Garnacha, Cariñena and Syrah varieties.

Wineissocial is an online wine club that also makes wines. Rebeldes is made by two of the sector’s experts; Javier Bueno and Josep Serra who have produced a pleasant, easy to drink wine but with the characteristic personality of the area. They work in a winery dating back more than 100 years in Montsant.

Rebeldes comes from some young vineyards lying between the towns of Marcà and Masroig, in the heart of Montsant. These strains are traditionally grown in a way that respects the character of the terroir. An area characterised by mild temperatures, low rainfall and a Mediterranean breeze.

After the harvest, the Rebeldes grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The Cariñena variety ages slightly in foudres before the three varieties are blended.

Rebeldes is a pleasant and easy to drink red wine with the typical character of the area. The perfect introduction to Montsant.

2018 Rebeldes 2018 is a smooth red wine with aromas of red fruits and subtle spicy notes. On the palate it is dense, silky and very fruity. A sweet and very easy to drink wine.
