About Príncipe de Viana Chardonnay

Príncipe de Viana Chardonnay is a white wine from the D.O Navarra produced by the winery Príncipe de Viana. This wine, as it name suggests, is a monovarietal of Chardonnay.

The harvest of Príncipe de Viana Chardonnay is performed in September during the night. This prevents the grapes from oxidising, preserves the aromas and the work is completed at cooler temperatures.

The grapes are transported immediately to the winery, where the diverse winemaking processes are carried out following traditional methods.

The must of Príncipe de Viana Chardonnay is fermented in French (50%) and American (50%) oak barrels. Subsequently, the wine is aged for 3 months in the same barrels.

The winery Príncipe de Viana is one of the leading wineries in the D.O Navarra. Together, with Rioja Vega, they form the Grupo Príncipe de Viana.

Príncipe de Viana Chardonnay 2022 is a white wine that captivates with its intense expression of tropical fruits. On the nose, it unfolds a panoply of aromas where pineapple, banana, and citrusy hints of lime and lemon intermingle with delicate notes of vanilla. On the palate, it is intense with a well-balanced acidity that enhances its freshness. The smooth and harmonious texture leads to a crisp and lingering finish, leaving behind a delightful creamy character. A vibrant wine brimming with personality.
