Portia Roble 2024 is a wine that reveals the most pleasant and flavorful side of Ribera del Duero: a youthful red with a mature soul. About Portia Roble

Portia Roble is a red wine from the D.O Ribera del Duero produced by the winery Portia. This wine in made using only Tempranillo grapes, a common variety in the region.

The grapes used to make Portia Roble come different estates located at an average altitude of 820 meters. The estates used are the Roa, Gumiel de Mercado, Sotillo de la Ribera and Villanueva de Gumiel estates, which are overseen by the winery. The yield of these vineyards is about 5,000 kilos per hectare. Following their years of experience in the area, the harvest and subsequent winemaking processes are carried out using conventional methods.

Once at the winery, the grapes for Portia Roble ferment in controlled conditions at a temperature of 26ºC. Before being bottled and marketed, this wine is aged for at least 4 months in french oak barrels.

The Portia winery, which is part of the Grupo Faustino, is one of the most famous wineries in the D.O Ribera del Duero. It´s facilities were designed by award winning architect Norman Foster and attract many visitors year after year. It is one of the most visited vineyards in the region.

Portia Roble 2023 is a slightly fruity red wine. On the nose, it features aromas of red fruits such as strawberries and cherries, complemented by a sweet touch due to its brief ageing in barrels. On the palate, it is smooth and light, with a fruity intensity that makes it very pleasant to drink. Its fresh and soft profile makes it an accessible and easy-to-enjoy choice.                      
2014 Fleshy and vibrant, with a robust structure. It boasts a remarkably lingering finish.

A deep garnet hue with violet flecks, luminous and enticing.

Characteristic notes of the Tempranillo grape are complemented by subtle nuances derived from its brief aging in oak barrels.
