2020
Red wine Aged in wood. 12 months in French oak barrels.
Pago Florentino 2020 unfurls a spectrum of intense aromas with prominent notes of ripe fruits, ranging from cherries and strawberries to hints of blackberries and plums. On the nose, it also interweaves glimmers of freshly ground coffee and a refreshing whisper of mint, against a backdrop of toasted nuances that beckon further exploration. Upon tasting, its entry is pleasing, gliding silkily across the palate, unveiling a lingering intensity. The ripe black fruit re-emerges, coupled with roasted undertones that persist in a prolonged and focused finish.

About Pago Florentino
Pago Florentino is a red wine with denomination of Pago elaborated by Bodegas y Viñedos La Solana (Arzuaga Navarro) in Malagón, La Mancha, V.P. Pago Florentino.
The sun is one of the main factors of this winery as the vines receive a large amount of sun during the day and this optimises the development of the biological functions of the plant.
This wine is a single variety Cencibel grown at Finca La Solana located on a slope of the mountain, an area of granite clay stones with a large mineral load.
As for the production, when the grapes reach perfect ripeness, they undergo a cold maceration without being carbon and then it undergoes fermentation at a low temperature. Following that, Pago Florentino undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels and, finally, an aging in French oak barrels.
