Llebre 2022 emerges as a youthful and exuberant red wine, captivating with its aromatic clarity and smoothness on the palate. Bringing it to the nose, one encounters a spectrum of scents ranging from fresh cherries and strawberries to sweet hints of vanilla, all interwoven with a subtle spicy contrast of white pepper. Upon tasting, its silky and vibrant texture beckons for another sip, as the gentle tannins caress the palate, culminating in an elegant and eminently quaffable wine.

About Llebre

Llebre is a red wine from the Costers del Segre region developed by Tomas Cusiné, who decided to start his own project in 2003 in the town of El Vilosell. The winery is located in an old premise, which was formerly the village cooperative.

The climate in this area is continental, averaging annual temperaturas of 14-15 ° C. In Winter,  frosts are frequent and in summer, temperatures can reach up to 35 ° C. This wine is a Tempranillo grapes from 30 hectares of vineyards located at 700 meters above sea level. The vineyards are planted on limestone soils which are poor in organic matter. In terms of the ripening process, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 24-26ºC. Finally, the wine spends four months in French oak barrels.
A wine with excellent value for money amongst its competitors.

Llebre 2022 emerges as a youthful and exuberant red wine, captivating with its aromatic clarity and smoothness on the palate. 2013 In the mouth, it is presented as well balanced, flavoursome and easy to drink. There are essences of fruit together with a toasted flavour. There is also good acidity, together with a persistent aftertaste.

A rich cherry colour with maroon reflections. Clear and bright.

On the nose, this is a very expressive and aromatic wine. Aromas of raspberries, blackberries and plums appear next to milky undertones. This wine is both spicy and balsamic, with a lightly toasted flavour. 
2012 Such as in the nose, in the mouth, this wine is very fruity. A medium-bodied Spanish wine with a good acidity. It is balanced, tasty and easy to drink. Its toasted aromas become more noticeable in the finish. Good persistence.

Cherry colour with maroon edges. Clean and bright wine. Medium robe.

Good intensity. Nasal aromas are dominated by notes of red and black fruit (raspberries, blackberries and prunes), and some milky nuances like strawberry and cream sweets. Some spicy, balsamic and toasted notes complete this expressive and harmonious nose.
2011 Such as in the nose, in the mouth, this wine is very fruity. A medium-bodied Spanish wine with a good acidity. It is balanced, tasty and easy-drinking. Its toasted aromas become more noticeable in the finish. Good persistence.

2010 This red wine is powerful in the mouth, with a good concentration of fruit and a good acidity that adds freshness. Intense tannins. Medium-length finish of the correct persistence.

Intense picota cherry colour, clean and very bright.

Ripe, juicy and fleshy black fruit accompanied by smooth toasted notes. Touches of spices and some floral nuances compliment a direct, intense and very enjoyable nose.
2009 In the mouth, it is fresh and pleasant. It has a substantial charge of fruit, a good acidity and tannins that provide it with a medium-high body. It shows an aftertaste reminiscent of red fruits, toasted hints and spicy aromas. An easy-drinking red wine and a good one within its category.

Clean nasal aromas with a medium-high intensity. Its aromas of ripe red fruit are very well integrated with its subtle notes of oak.
