About Joseph Faiveley Chardonnay

Joseph Faiveley Chardonnay is a single-variety Chardonnay white wine made by Domaine Faiveley under the AOC Bourgogne in Burgundy, France.

The grapes used to make Joseph Faiveley Chardonnay come from different vineyards with limestone loam soils spread across the region and vinified in the special Nuits-Saint-Georges cellar, which dates back to the 19th century and has the perfect conditions for aging. Joseph Faiveley Chardonnay ages for 8 to 10 months on its fine lees, and some in the highest quality French oak barrels.

Domaine Faiveley is a centennial winery with 127 hectares spread over Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise which makes it one of the largest in Burgundy. They work the plots with total respect for the environment using the family's know-how and a winemaking legacy of almost two centuries.
2016 Joseph Faiveley Chardonnay is a white wine with aromas of white fruits accompanied by creamy nuances and hazelnuts. The palate is balanced and persistent, with an expressive acidity, light touches of vanilla and mineral brushstrokes. A fresh and harmonious wine.
