About Izadi El Regalo Blanco

When someone is profoundly in love, they wish to offer the finest gifts to their beloved. This is precisely what a winemaker from Villabuena de Álava, in la Rioja Alavesa, did: he bestowed upon his wife the parcel he cherished most, transforming it into a true wedding dowry. Thus, the name El Regalo was born, a small 3.85-hectare plot that remains vibrant today under the stewardship of Izadi, the founding winery of Artevino Family Wineries.

The legacy of this parcel, with its story of love and devotion, continues to be reflected in the wine produced there. Izadi El Regalo Blanco is a unique wine that captures the essence of the indigenous varieties viura and malvasía. The vines, dating back to 1936, thrive in clay-limestone soil and are cultivated using organic practices. The harvest is conducted manually in 15 kg boxes, and the winemaking process adheres strictly to tradition: whole cluster pressing, fermentation in French oak barrels, and ageing for less than a year in large oak casks and concrete. The result is a wine with a smooth texture and vibrant character, inviting you to relish its freshness and elegance.

Izadi El Regalo Blanco from the DOCa Rioja is a tribute to family tradition and the love passed down through generations. A gift from the land, a homage to the past, and above all, an invitation to savour the present.
