Glorioso Reserva 2021 is an elegant and enveloping red wine, with clean and well-defined aromas where ripe fruit —prune, raisin— intertwines with notes of vanilla, clove, and a delicate undertone of caramel and roasted nuances. On the palate, it is smooth and glyceric, with a silky sensation balanced by a lively and refreshing acidity. The finish is harmonious, with hints of chocolate and a subtle mineral nuance that adds character. A classic red, well-crafted, conveying calm, balance, and pleasure without pretence.

About Glorioso Reserva

Glorioso Reserva is a red wine from the D.O La Rioja produced by Bodegas Palacio, founded in 1894 by Don Cosme Palacio and Bermejillo. This is a single-variety from the grape Tempranillo, the most typical grape found in the region.
The grapes are selected from various vineyards from La Rioja Alavesa, the harvest is performed at the optimum stage for the ripeness of the grape.
Before starting the production process, the grapes are placed in cold stainless steel vats.
Glorioso Reserva is born out of a traditional production method, the fruit of many years of experience in this sector and region.
After a large maceration process, the must of Glorioso Reserva is transferred to French barrels where it rests for 22 months.
Before being sold on the market, Glorioso Reserva rests also in the bottle.
The brand Glorioso was created in 1928 with the goal to offer consumers a range of classic Rioja wines: Tempranillo with a long ageing phase in French oak barrels.

Glorioso Reserva 2019 is a red wine distinguished by its intense ruby hue with purplish highlights. On the nose, it offers an enticing aroma with notes of blackberry, cassis, and cherries, complemented by nuances of chocolate and roasted undertones. On the palate, it is opulent and expansive, with mature tannins that provide a smooth texture. Its finish is persistent and fruity, leaving a sense of complexity and concentration that invites one to savour it leisurely.                       
2010 Balanced and fresh, fruity and with a very pleasant mid-palate. The notes from the Tempranillo and the oak are brought harmoniously together.

The palate is balanced, tasty and enjoyable. There are fruity notes. Soft and well integrated tannins. Long finish.
