This is the moniker for the island of Negros Occidental in the Philippines, a splendid region renowned for its significant sugar cane production, which serves as a vital cog in the local economy.
 
Here is where Don Papa Baroko, a premium rum, is born, transporting you to the mystical realm of Sugarlandia while reflecting the unique character imparted by the fertile soils on the slopes of the active Kanlaon volcano (also known as Mount Canlaon) where the sugar cane grows, yielding a sweet and rich molasses known as black gold.
 
Don Papa Baroko Rum is distilled in small batches and masterfully blended by the Master Blender of Don Papa to produce an aged rum that matures under the tropical and humid climate of the island, in American oak barrels seasoned with bourbon.
 
Don Papa Baroko Rum is presented in a bottle with an eye-catching label that depicts the endangered species of the island. The Don Papa distillery contributes financially to support the Talarak Foundation and the Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation in their efforts to protect the flora and fauna of Negros Island.
