Since its establishment in 1839, The Dalmore has been synonymous with excellence in multi-cask maturation (in various types of barrels). For over 180 years, the distillery has perfected the art of selecting casks to create whiskies of legendary opulence and depth.
 
Every bottle of The Dalmore is adorned with the 12-point royal stag, a symbol that honours a legacy dating back to 1263. This emblem, granted to Colin of Kintail after saving the life of King Alexander III of Scotland, represents the heritage and unparalleled quality of the Scottish distillery.
 
In 1867, the descendants of the Mackenzie clan, upon taking control of the distillery, introduced this emblem on every bottle of The Dalmore, ensuring an exceptional malt whisky.
