Sommelier Wine Awards 2012 at Decantalo

The results of the Sommelier Wine Awards 2012, judged by 80 of the UK’s finest sommeliers and on-trade wine buyers, have already been published. This year over 1850 wines entered the competition.

Lots of the Spanish wines that you can find on our online store have been awarded gold, silver and bronze medals. We can highlight Taberner 2007, with a golden medal, and the younger brother of the same winery, Barbazul, which was awarded a bronze medal. Within the gold medal category we can also find wines such as Pazo de Monterrey Godello 2010 or Clio 2009. Finally, we can highlight some of those which got a silver medal: Marqués de Riscal Reserva, Viña Real Gran Reserva 2005 and the Rioja wines by Beronia.
