About Bicicletas y Peces Rosado
Bicicletas y Peces Rosado is a rosé wine from D.O. Somontano, produced by the winery Family Owned Wineries.
Family Owned Wineries is a project that was born in 2013 thanks to 2 families with a long winemaking tradition. On the one hand, the team of oenologists from Celler Tianna Negre, in Binissalem-Mallorca, and on the other, Bodegas Juan Gil, in Jumilla (Murcia).
Family Owned Wineries makes wines from different denominations of origin in Spain, with the local varieties of each area, to make wines that are loyal and representative of each region.
Bicicletas y Peces Rosado is a white wine made from Tempranillo, from the best vineyards in the area.
Harvesting is carried out manually, selecting the grapes in the vineyard. Once the grapes are destemmed, the go through a short maceration to achieve such a delicate colour. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel deposits at a controlled temperature. After the fermentation, the wine is left to stand for a few months in the bottle before it is launched on to the market.
