About Beaufort Frères Brut Nature

Beaufort Frères Brut Nature is an organic, biodynamic and natural sparkling wine made from the Pinot Noir variety by Beaufort Frères in Burgundy (France).

Son of Andrè Beaufort is an expert in organic, ecological and biodynamic agriculture. Its vineyards in Borgundy are treated exclusively with plant and animal products to make a very unique range of sparkling wines.

Beaufort Frères Brut Nature comes from vines worked by hand using a hoe and with soils nourished using vegetable compost made with organic materials from the farm itself. The natural balance of the terroir is respected at all times and the vine yield is low. When the grape reaches optimum ripeness, it is harvested by hand.

In the winery, the Beaufort Frères Brut Nature grapes are pressed immediately after harvest. The must is left to settle for 12 hours and then alcoholic fermentation begins with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Having made the base wine, a second fermentation of 15 months takes place in the bottle with the addition of unrefined cane sugar or concentrated grape must and natural yeasts. Finally, when all the lees are in the bottle neck, it is disgorged and the sparkling wine itself is added to fill the bottle before the cap is replaced.

Beaufort Frères Brut Nature is a very aromatic sparkling wine characterised by fruit, depth and a silky texture. A very respectful sparkling wine that is perfect for enjoying on a relaxing evening.
