And if we suggest you try it, it’s not because everyone else does (who do you think we are?); we simply urge you to give this red a chance for three reasons: firstly, for its exceptionally meticulous production, where the Baigorri team oversees every detail to ensure perfection. This notion is directly linked to the second reason, which pertains to the careful cultivation of the winery's vineyards. All twelve plots are located in Rioja Alavesa, where clay-limestone soils abound. Lastly, it is imperative to mention the sustainable and environmentally respectful practices that are consistently adhered to.
 
Baigorri Crianza is hand-harvested and selected before being manually destemmed. This task is performed on sorting tables, where vibration significantly aids in identifying clusters that do not meet the minimum quality standards. Baigorri Crianza undergoes carbonic maceration, where fermentation begins within the berry itself, utilising the presence of indigenous yeasts. Finally, Baigorri Crianza will age for 14 months in French and American oak barrels.
