Marimar Rosaleda

Rosé wine Organic.
Marimar Rosaleda Rosé 2020 is a fruity rosé wine with an attractive salmon pink colour. The nose reveals red fruit fragrances, notes of rose petals and hints of wet stones. On the palate it is fresh, sweet and rounded. A wine with well-balanced acidity, a smooth and delicate mid-palate and a long, mineral finish.

About Marimar Rosaleda
With the name Rosaleda, which means a rose garden, Marimar Torres (the fourth generation of the Torres family) created her first rosé wine in California. This wine, like the rest of the winery’s products, aims to fuse the American identity with the Mediterranean spirit. It all began when Marimar moved to California to further her enology studies and discovered the beauty of this wine region. It didn’t take much to convince her father Miguel Torres, a forward-looking businessman, that she should set up her own project at the top of the hill. Built in the style of a Catalan farmhouse with two of its own vineyards, one in the Russian River Valley and the other on the Sonoma Coast, Marimar Estate Vineyards & Winery was set up to explore new opportunities and further expand their enormous legacy in winemaking. Today, with a capacity of 15,000 cases, their American dream has become a reality. With Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Albariño as her star varieties, this great woman of the winemaking world has managed to fuse North American and European winemaking culture like no one else.
Marimar Rosaleda Rosé comes specifically from the Don Miguel vineyard (named after her father). A vineyard located in the Green Valley, the coldest and foggiest region of the Russian River Valley, only 15 km from the Pacific Ocean. These are Pinot Noir vines planted in the European style, sustainably and with very limited yields. The principles of biodynamics are also taken into account with the aim of reflecting the characteristics of the terroir. In the winery, after a minimal pressing in whole clusters, fermentation begins with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. It then remains in the bottle for 3 months before being released for sale.
With a name that evokes both the colour and fragrance of the wine, Marimar Rosaleda Rosé is a real find. A floral, fruity and mineral wine that fuses the best of two cultures, the ancient European tradition with the open view of the new world.
