Domaine Bernard Defaix Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet is a single-variety Chardonnay white wine produced by Domaine Bernard Defaix under the A.O.C. Chablis Premier Cru in Burgundy, France.

The grapes used to make this Domaine Bernard Defaix Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet come from eight hectares of Premier Cru classified plots that lie on a slope around the town of Milly. These vineyards have very peculiar stony and sunny soils with very well preserved Exogyra virgula fossils, an extinct genus of oysters that were characteristic of the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.

Le Côte de Léchet is one of the Chablis Premiers Crus that offers extraordinary aging potential, just like this Domaine Bernard Defaix Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet. This is a powerful and complex wine that flourishes as it ages.
