About Bancal del Bosc Blanc

Bancal del Bosc Blanc is a white wine from the D.O. Monstant produced by Vinyes Domènech. This wine is made using only Garnacha Blanca grapes. 

The grapes used to make Bancal del Bosc Blanc come from plots that are situated at around 400 metres above sea level. The vines areplanted on slopes on clay and calcareous soils which are also rocky. The vineyard has a north-south orientation.

The winery practices organic agriculture, as certified by Consell Català de la producció Agrària Ecològica (CCPAE). No chemical products are used while cultivating the vineyards, only organic products.

The harvest is carried out during the night to take advantage of the low temperatures. It is carried out selectively, harvesting plot by plot. Small boxes of 15kg capacity are used to ensure that the grapes do not break prematurely.

At the winery, the grapes undergo the winemaking process independently depending on the plot they were taken from. The wine is then bottled without being aged.

Vinyes Domènech, founded in 2002, is a family winery. It was built following the ideals of ´GreenCeller´ that all the processes and facilities could be carried out and maintained in a way that is respectful to the environment.

2017 Bancal del Bosc Blanc 2017 is a profiled and expressive white wine. On the nose, this vintage shows ripe white fruit with floral notes and a citrus touch. In the mouth, it is silky, easy to drink and fresh.
2014 Robust and invigorating. Harmoniously balanced, with excellent acidity and a prolonged, fruit-laden finish.

Pale yellow hue with golden glimmers.

Dominant white fruit presence with floral undertones. Exhibits citrus and tropical notes.
