About Arnegui Crianza
Arnegui Crianza is a monovarietal red wine from Tempranillograpes, from the D.O.C Rioja produced by the Pagos del Rey winery.
Arnegui Crianza is made from Tempranillo grapes from low production vineyards in La Rioja Alta. First the grapes are macerated cold for a couple of days and then fermented at a temperature of 25 to 28 ºC in stainless steel tanks for 10-12 days. A post-fermentative maceration is subsequently performed for 5 to 10 days to extract more colour and tannins that will give the wine more structure. Lastly the wine is aged in American oak barrels for 12 months.
Arnegui Crianza is a wine for accompanying white meats or semi-hard cheeses. It is a complex wine, with polished tannins and a good balance between red and black fruit, and wood and its aromas of spice and vanilla.
2019 | Arnegui Crianza 2019 exhibits a spirited and approachable demeanor. On the nose, it unfurls a bouquet where cherries, red plums, orange zest, and seamlessly integrated oak take prominence. On the palate, it retains its youthful essence with a moderate structure, refined tannins, and a harmoniously balanced acidity that renders it effortlessly quaffable. A lingering finish beckons one to continue savoring its vibrant fruitiness. |

2015 | Arnegui Crianza 2015 is a wine with aromas of cherry and plums, and with certain touches of orange, herbaceous plants and oak; all of them well integrated. On the palate we find these same aromas, together with a structure of soft tannins and with a light spicy touch. |
